For almost a decade, Rinaly, the Japanese electronic artist, has pushed Trance’s boundaries. Beginning with live bands at a young age, she later developed her production skills and mastered various instruments, including piano, drums, and trombone at a conservatory by age 14. Rinaly is a sought-after performer at global venues and festivals like Zouk Singapore, Piccadilly, and Colosseum Jakarta, as well as major international events such as Amsterdam Dance Event, Luminosity, EDC Japan & China, Dreamstate and Transmission Official Party. Her singles are consistently ranking on Beatport’s top Trance charts.
In 2020, she was named the #2 DJ at the DJ Mag Japan Awards, gaining support from figures like Armin van Buuren and Aly & Fila. Despite her growing prominence, Rinaly believes her journey is just starting. With upcoming releases on labels like Black Hole Recordings and FSOE, festival bookings, and a wealth of innovative music waiting to be unleashed, she’s ready to conquer the global stage and inspire the next generation of female producers to aim for the sky.
In 2023, inspired by this notion, Rinaly embarked on a fresh journey, adopting the alias Rina Mirai. Now, she’s venturing into a contemporary fusion of techno with trance elements, all while embracing the concept of ‘Mirai,’ which translates to ‘The Future’ in Japanese. Motivated to convey her raw emotions, she launched this project to express the darker facets of her inner self. Rinaly admits that her emotions aren’t always uplifting, stating, “I now channel more of my feelings into my music instead of using words.” Her creative journey has resonated with nearly 30 Twitch followers, where her regular techno sets consistently engage an impressive 500 simultaneous viewers. This achievement hasn’t gone unnoticed, drawing the attention of major techno labels, including the renowned Set About led by Metodi Hristov.
