Dan Dobson aka Daxson recognized by label boss Markus Schulz as a standout talent in the next generation of UK-based Trance artists, has made a significant impact since his introduction to the Coldharbour family with “Skygarden.” His momentum continued with the release of the powerful track “Culture Shock,” known for generating massive live reactions. Since 2017 Dan Dobson has graced global stages like Creamfields, Transmission, UNTOLD, Ministry of Sound, Luminosity, Rong Events, Avalon, Groove Cruise & many more.
Daxson’s melodies embody the very essence of trance, evoking uplifting emotions, leading labels like Black Hole Recordings, FSOE, and A State Of Trance to sign his records. Through his debut album, “Face the Future,” we can say Daxson delivered some of the most memorable notes and moments in Coldharbour Recordings’ history. It’s clear that Coldharbour will forever hold a special place as home for Dan.
In recent years, Dan’s association with the Transmission Festival has skyrocketed. Since 2022, when he accepted the responsibility of creating the event theme “Behind The Mask” and delivered a mind-blowing performance in front of 10,000 people in Poland, Dan’s career has accelerated. The following year, he not only presented the theme song “Awakening” for Transmission but also joined the lineup in Bangkok. As the Netherlands became new market for this festival last year, Dan played an active role, tasked with creating another theme song, “Elysium,” and presenting it live at the venue. Nevertheless, “Elysium” has been officially released today.
Looking ahead, with Transmission Melbourne scheduled for this weekend and the event returning to Prague in May, it’s noteworthy that Daxson will be performing at both upcoming events. Beyond Transmission, a glance at Daxson’s gig schedule reveals a remarkably busy year ahead, featuring venues worldwide. There is a sense of curiosity about the artist’s potential growth over the next 2 to 3 years, as it seems a beautiful story is about to unfold for Daxson.
